Spectrum Plastics was a pioneer in reel-to-reel molding technology. Our custom reel-to-reel continuous strip molding systems employ automatic feed and indexing units combined with specially modified molding machinery for automatic, high volume, precision molding of components. Successfully controlling difficult variables is part of the process and places Spectrum in a small group of molders that have mastered the reel-to-reel molding process.
Spectrum's reel-to-reel systems are being used increasingly to mold demanding, high performance engineering grade thermoplastic and silicone materials. By offering proprietary reel-to-reel systems for high volume molding of miniature components, Spectrum is able to automate the injection molding process resulting in high quality, tight tolerance products at competitive costs. |
